    Greenhills need better teachers.

This school has disappointed me a lot through bullying, racism and bigotry I have faced and witnessed. I think there are better schools in Drogheda and the surrounding areas to send your daughter to. In the last couple weeks since school started, I have seen at least 10 people be suspended for using their phone which would not be an issue if they handled bullying the same way. A teacher was found to be racist and a video was published on tiktok of him allegedly saying the n word and cursing a black man out. This video was reported and nothing was done. The teacher has kept his position. When other teachers treat different students unfairly, the student gets punished for reporting. When another student told a guidance councillor that they were dealing with dark thoughts to keep it vague, they were told to get a high-vis jacket and go on more walks. Other than that, this school does have a couple very kind students. When it’s the autumn to winter months, there is barely any heating in school. Students get hot water bottles confiscated off them, even if they’re on their period which brings me to my next point about using the toilet. Some teachers actually say no when you ask to use the toilet even though this school is an all girls school, we don’t have our phones as they are locked in the phone pouches so we’re more than likely actually using the bathroom or using menstrual products. There are a couple of activities for students to take part in like basketball, gaelic and camogie. In regards to, education and learning, people who don’t do well with standard assessments aren’t looked after.
