Le Chéile Secondary School- An honest review
It’s a really good school. The teachers are kind and supportive, I love the school environment as everyone knows each other and helps one another. However, the subject choices availability for the Leaving Certificate students are quite limited, as though this is a relevantly new school, this may impact students who want to have a diverse set of subjects. The outdoor environment is restricted, as students who are engaging in activities such as volleyball and soccer are condensed together and cannot really roam free. The basketball court (outside the main entrance) is minor but accessible. the Food Village company is decent, but the layout is quite small, causing a flurry of students to traffic the hallway and similar areas. This reflects the current situation that the school building is in, as the real building has not been constructed or has attained planning permission. As of the structure of time in the school, the lunches are quite short as a result of the neighbouring school, Ballincollig Community School together amasses a large flurry of students to leave school into a crowded environment, causing traffic and disruption in the Ballincollig area. In conclusion, Le Chéile is a lovely school, the environment and students are quite polished, this school is perfect for moving to a positive environment for a fresh start or to experience a localised exchange year in the beautiful suburbs of County Cork.
